Grand Chef SP
The Grand Chef SP series is a collection of high-quality knives that have been crafted with a rich history of 600 years in Sakai, Japan, by Aoki Hamono. These knives are made from the highest-grade Swedish stainless steel by Bohler-Uddeholm.
This series' knives are known for their durability and razor-sharp edges. The blade is entirely made of this special stainless steel alloy, which has very low impurities, is highly rust-resistant, and offers exceptional sharpness. The knives are hardened to about HRC 61~62, ensuring that they last a very long time.
The Grand Chef SP series also feature a dimpled edge, also known as a scalloped edge, has concave depressions along the side of the blade. Similar to a hollow edge, these dimples also help to reduce sticking and make slicing smoother.
